The Soundcheck is a project built to bridge the gap between music and engineering.
Hi, my name is Eddie, and I come from the world of live sound, DJing, and drumming. I'm used to operating in a field where, to be creative and embrace the chaotic nature of performance and music, everything needs to just work.
Over time, I realised how often artists get lost when technical issues arise and how technology can sometimes be an absolute showstopper (and not in a good way).
I know firsthand how artists can panic when the technical side of things comes up.
The Soundcheck exists to take that pressure off.
Right now, I offer practical services like PAT testing, setup advice, and production support.
But this is just the start. The plan is to use my services to fund a growing portfolio of electronics builds, tutorials, and creative projects that explore the crossover between art and engineering.
Having gained a degree in Sound engineering and Music production, and now working towards a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics.
The Soundcheck is where I aim to bring my studies together.
It's part learning project, part small business, and part creative experiment, and I can't wait to collaborate with you.
