Start by completing our quick online form — just tell us what needs testing, where you are, and when you’d like it done.
We’ll give you an a quote, confirm the details, and take a small deposit to secure your date.
On the day, our friendly, qualified tester arrives fully equipped and ready to get to work. Each item will be carefully inspected and tested to ensure it’s safe and compliant.
✅ If it passes, it receives our PASS sticker and is logged in your test register.
⚠️ If something fails, we’ll set it aside, explain why, and help you decide whether it can be repaired or retired from your inventory.
Each item we test will fall into one of the following categories:
Equipment in which protection against electric shock does not rely on basic insulation only, but includes means for the connection of exposed-conductive parts to a protective conductor in the fixed wiring of the installation (BS EN 61140)
Equipment in which protection against electric shock does not rely on basic insulation only, but in which additional safety precautions, such as supplementary insulation, are provided, there being no provision for the connection of exposed metalwork of the equipment to a protective conductor and no reliance upon precautions to be taken in the fixed wiring of the installation.
Extension leads, and power cables.
After testing, you’ll receive all your results by email which includes your PAT certificate and inspection register.
While the certificate itself isn’t a legal requirement, many venues and event spaces do ask for it as proof of compliance.
The Inspection Register, however, is the official legal record, so we recommend sharing both documents whenever proof of testing is needed.
For added convenience, we can also provide a custom CSV file of your tested assets which can be used for tracking equipment, planning maintenance, and making smarter inventory decisions.
